We seem to be like the protagonist of the movie "Gajini" or "Memento" when it comes to remembering our heroes. It was not even a fortnight ago when we showered our bountiful praises on our men in uniform who had led down their lived. Men who sacrificed their life so that people like you and me might live. We even took oath that we would treat them with dignity.
But every thing is forgotten when they try to stop a mob from setting buses on fire or causing inconvenience to people. They are beaten up or abused. The administration is to be blamed..."How dare they try to bring down the compound wall of a religious place (doesn’t matter it encroached on public property)". And rightly the upright officers doing their duties are suspended.
I dream of a world where
God is not confined to the boundaries set by men
Where God walks out of the building we call temple or mosque or church
And start dwelling in our hearts
Where the religious books are not quoted
As for justifying barbaric acts
But light the path of misguided souls…
We’ll I’m just a dreamer…but I really hope my dream comes true…

Just a pair of eyes
Just a pair of eyes...but they bear…
The tear of a child that can move you…
The beauty of your love which can mesmerize you….
The promise of a friend that can encourage you…
They love of a mother that can comfort you…
Just a pair of eyes…

Friends Never Say GoodBye

Friends Never Say GoodBye
There isn't much I haven't shared
With you along the road
And through it all there'd always be
Tomorrow's episode
Suddenly that isn't true
There's another avenue
Beckoning the great divide
Ask no questions, take no side
Who's to say who's right or wrong
Whose course is braver run
Still we are, have always been
Will ever be as one
What is done has been done for the best
Though the mist in my eyes might suggest
Just a little confusion about what I'll lose
But if I started over I know I would choose
The same joy the same sadness each step of the way
That fought me and taught me that friends never say
Never say goodbye
Never say goodbye
Never say goodbye
Never say goodbye
Suddenly that isn't true
There's another avenue
Beckoning, the great divide
I would choose
The same joy the same sadness each step of the way
That fought me and taught me that friends never say
Never say goodbye
Never say goodbye
Never say goodbye
Never say goodbye
